Christmas with the Carrs...

Christmas 2010...Where do I begin...?
It started about 6:30...With ME waking up Jason...If only you knew Jason....this is the man that wakes his kids up at 3 in the morning to open presant! anyways...I woke him up at 6:30...he threw alitte bit of a fit about why did I let him sleep so long and that Grandpa Fisher was going to be so mad at him for not calling him at 5 and then he moved on to waking up his children...TJ of coures was already awake and "patiently" waiting for us...Taylor on the other hand...was not so excited to see her dad that early in the morning!
YAY!!! SANTA FOUND US IN OUR NEW HOME!!!
Santa spoiled our children this year...Lets just say Santa and Mrs. Clause will never go shopping to get a few little things on Christmas Eve EVER again....Santa likes to change his mind last second!

Christmas this year was bitter sweet for Me. I loved waking up in my bed, my home with my little family...but I Really missed the BIG family, the opening of spirital christmas eve gifts from my siblings, the christmas eve "program/peptalk" from the parents, chatting with siblings, watching the clock change days, all the neices, stuffing christmas socks with my sisters, family prayer, all the crazyness, the christmas cook off, moms agenda on the counter, the HUGE piles of wrapping paper, and most of all I missed my parents.
This was my first Christmas without them. I really struggled this year...but thanx to some great friends for spending Christmas Eve with us and an AMAZING husband who knew I needed alittle extra support this year it turned out pretty good!

Winter Wonder Land...

I Love the Snow!!!
This was at about 7:30 this morning...you should see it now!
I had to call and cancel my apts. today because of a semi truck being jackknived at the top of the road leading into town but it was ok...we got lots of fun in the snow...it took me about 30 min to talk TJ into playing in the snow but taylor was outside before we could get shoes on her!

Believe it or not I did make sure he zipped up his coat before we went outside...I honestly have No Idea how it got unzipped!

A visit with the Grandparents...

Last night grandma and grandpa Park showed up at our home around 4:45ish.....TJ and Taylor were SO excited! They were litturaly bouncing off the walls!Jason got home shortly after and we headed to dinner...Golden Corral of course!
They only stayed for the night for they are on their way to Colorado for my cousins wedding. But this short time has ment the world to me! I dont remember the last time I didnt get to see my Grandma and Grandpa Park in Vernal for Christmas. They always stopped through on their way to Colorado if they werent staying for Christmas.
This is a pic of Taylor showing gama and papa the pictures of Baby Ramsi (Russ and Annies new baby) Grandpa said his computer wont show pictures any more so they hadnt seen any pictures of her.
Taylor LOVED grandma and grandpa beeing here! She grabbed their hands and hauled them around everywhere and made them read books and do puzzles with her over and over!
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for staying with us! It was Great!

Mini Pumpkin Muffins....

So last Wed the 8th of December was my 23rd Birthday. I dont know exactly what it was about 23 but...I was really dreading my birthday this year. No 23 is not very old...but....from someone who hasnt yet been 23..ITS OLD! So....anyways....I really wasnt up to doing much of anything that day. Taylor and I just stayed home all day! At first we watched some cartoons and played with her babies...we then got kind of bored...so my OCD kicked in and we started cleaning! It was a Great birthday presant from myself to have a clean home! and then...I remembered that I signed up to bring a dessert for that night at our Ward Christmas party! So...Taylor and I got to baking! I used Aspens Pumpkin Bars recipe and instead of putting them on a cookie sheet I made mini muffins. (for any of you on the Merrell Recipe Blog use the same recipe and oven temp but only bake them for 12 min. It made about 80 min muffins!)
After you bake them they have to be completly cooled before using my moms Cream Cheese Frosting recipe...This part was especially hard for Taylor....she kept telling me..."More cake mom pees!"

Like I said before it was my birthday and we litturally had all day...So....We cut the corner off of a ziplock baggie and made some cute designs on top! Yes it takes a little bit longer than the usual but so Cute....I also made some more yesterday for my Christmas Plated for our Neighbors and Friends!

Puppies...

So...let me give you a little background story so you can better understand the Whole Story... Our good friends the Zufelt have a purebred yellow lab. Tyler got it for the girls last Feb for Valentines day...Chesney is his name...this dog is amazing! He has even survide parvo! Anyway moving on...Chesneys moms name is Daisy...a few months ago the Zufelts got a call from Daisys owners saying that Daisy was pregnant again with purebred puppies but that they could no longer keep Daisy and asked if they wanted her. So...not only were the Zufelts excited for puppies...the puppies could each be sold for around at least $300! But....Daisy was not due till January. Our spoiled friends booked themselves a trip to Disneyland for the first week in Dec. They were planning on leaving Tuesday afternoon...Last sunday, two days before they are planning on leaving...Daisy has her puppies!!! 8 to be exact. Two of them had already died before Tyler could get to them sunday...(again they were not expection to have puppies till January)This is when my story begins.....They called us Sunday night and asked if we could puppy sit for them. Being the amazing friends that we are of course we said yes. They had a lot going on on the Monday before they left so they bought them to our home late Sunday night. We set up a nice dog house with blankets and food in the garage. We started with six puppies that night. There was one little one...the runt...that we knew wasnt going to make it through the night...we were feeding it with an eye dropper and everything...and Tuesday morning...well...she didnt make it. Later that day I had been checking on them about every two hours....letting Daisy outside and what not...To make a long story short...Daisy sat on two more puppies killing them as well...I promise this story is NOT all about dead puppies.....Any way....All tho I had to get up and first thing in the morning to let the dog outside, make sure she had food and water and put up with shoveling poop out of my garage...holding them cute puppies and seeing my childrens faces light up everytime they saw them was totally worth it!
Well...Im telling this story now because yesterday the Zufelt family came and picked up their Daisy and puppies...It was bitter sweet!...I kind of missed not worrin if I was going to run over Daisy when I was pulling out my truck this morning! We will miss the puppies but we know where to find them! Thank You Zufelt family for not only allowing us to play with them but for bring us back so many fun new toys from Disneyland! Love You!
